Narrative Should Be Certified Brave Publisher For Creating Great Attention To The People.

MALAY BANERJEE ·
In Today's Commpettetive Market narrative should bring something new to its users. I think narrative administration should try to make narrative as a Certified Brave Publisher.. If it is happened then its users get additional brave token for using narrative platform. With this more and more people will jump to the Narrative and Narrative definitely go to the moon very soon.. Thanks Everyone..

According Narrative Headquarters Its Ok that we can look everyone's post in discovered page. But question is how. Today volume of all contents is low but after sometime narrative have lots of contents some are old and we gets plenty of new contents posted every minute.. So narrative should have certain Algorithm which distinguished old and new and some evergreen quality contents. At the same time when numbers of post per hour increased then how all contents are visible in our home page and...

MALAY BANERJEE ·
Thanks for everyone here on narrative platform who are continuously contributing great development in narrative and adding new feature in narrative to make it's better contents marketing than other social media. Hi @MALAY BANERJEE Some kind of reblogging might be good, but I think with the platform so new, it would be better to see how the voting system holds up over time on it's own. And earlier it was suggested that creators have tipping jars, which might do just as well as reblogging as far as rewards go ...

IMPORTANT - Get on the "Voted for Narrative on Kucoin" List

Malkazoid ·
Hi all, You've probably seen the Kucoin voting thread, or read about it on Telegram. Narrative on Kucoin would be a defining moment in the project, and a seriously big step towards a successful launch. As a large scale, high-volume and well-trusted exchange, it can help Narrative pick up momentum leading into the last months before platform launch. This means that voting on Kucoin is the single most important thing you can do for Narrative today. The deadline is July 15th 18.00 UTC+8. That's...

Hey @Banter ... as I mentioned, opposing external to internal views , I'd start with a 3:1 or 4:1 valuation ratio. So that's either 33.33% vs 66.66%, or 25% vs 75%. Then I'd run a platform simulator which I imagine the dev team is including in its suite of tools, and see what kind of values the economy develops from these settings... and adjust from there. Notice where I mentioned 5% vs 95%, I was looking at external views vs all internal Narrative valuations (views, likes, comments, and who...

Great post @Malkazoid . As the second most active person on the BOTH Narrative platforms, I very much concur with what he has said. One, only has to immerse themselves in another burgeoning community similar to Narrative, to understand immediately, how it is universally understood that pay-to-play or specifically pay-to-say, is not the way to get to mass adoption, in the early stages. @Narrative This isn't a game. It isn't am experiment. Many of us gave you real money out of our real lives.

@malkazoid I appreciate what you’re saying and respect your opinion, but I don’t agree with your assessment of the project. I’ve been involved with a number of start-up projects, from apps to non-profits to large websites to video games and am not at all dismayed by where Narrative currently is. I think it’s important to acknowledge that we are in ALPHA. Obviously development stages are somewhat arbitrary, but when I think back to when, for example, I was alpha testing one of my currently...

So - incredibly stoked by the second newsletter. I haven't finished reading it all yet, but wanted to jump in and talk about it as a visual experience. I think you're doing a stellar job at picking and placing images that speak to 'quality'. There is a richness in the tones, an originality in the editorial decisions (the owl: TERRIFIC) - the aesthetics speak to our ethic of aiming for quality. But you're pulling this off with out it feeling stuffy, or elitist. If you can keep this up, and if...

Re: IMPORTANT - Get on the "Voted for Narrative on Kucoin" List

Malkazoid ·
Yes, that's a fair summary I think. Right now, with scant trading options, there is no way for Narrative to reach a healthy volume of trading, which leaves us stuck at this point of low valuation, anemic volume and the need for new alpha users to be able to purchase NRVE. Beyond stability, it offers visibility, and a positive confidence boost for the project for those who operate in the crypto sphere. Unlike you and me who see primarily the value of the project itself, with the currency as...

Definitely a cool idea for Ontology! I would envision us having a slightly less formalized program, but we will definitely be looking at arming Niche Owners and Founders with a "tool kit" so they can be de facto ambassadors. We almost have a built in team from the start, with incentive to promote Narrative. All that remains is to provide some resources. I have some ideas about what would help Niche Owners and Founders spread the word, and there's a FANTASTIC conversation in this thread too: ...

One thing Narrative definitely needs is a mobile app for iOS and Android. Preferably early after beta launch so that the app can move along with further development of the platform. Dear Malay, I think that we should focus on advertisement and the quantity and quality of the content first, then the value of NRVE will increase automatically. And I am also very bullish on the longterm value of NRVE (some reasons: https://community.narrative.or...-ahead-for-narrative ) So in my opinion what we all should do now in the remaining two weeks before and also after the launch of the Beta: 1. find as many new users for the platform as possible, using other social media platforms...

Re: Everyone In Narrative Should Buy Atleast 1000 NRV Token.

I was about to say a very similar thing. There isn't a right or wrong answer to this thread. Having demand for the currency is a massive component for Narrative to be successful. I would argue even more than quality. If people don't buy the tokens then the tokens a person earns can not be cashed out. If you feel it is a wise investment buy tokens and hodl. If you feel that you want to purchase niches in the future, now is a good time, because i suspect the token price will go up shortly. The...

Re: Everyone In Narrative Should Buy Atleast 1000 NRV Token.

I figured a lot of the demand for the tokens would come from advertisers who want to advertise on Narrative. Then it'd be a cycle: Advertisers would buy tokens from exchanges, keeping the demand at a minimum level, and members would sell their tokens when they choose to, keeping tokens in circulation for advertisers to buy. Or am I wrong about that?

Re: Everyone In Narrative Should Buy Atleast 1000 NRV Token.

Emily Barnett ·
Of course, but that isn't going to happen right off the bat. We are not even launching with advertising capabilities according to the road map. And it may take some time for us to grow to a critical size that is enticing to advertisers. I suspect initially it will be wise for us to stake in the electoral rewards program, and that tokens will be purchased by two groups of people. Crypto speculators, and people wanting to purchase niches.

Re: Everyone In Narrative Should Buy Atleast 1000 NRV Token.

I'm impressed with this response - spot on in my view. NRVE demand is a direct expression of how much the community believes in it. If you think Narrative is going places and you want to invest some time and energy into it, investing in some NRVE can be considered part and parcel of that choice. I'd recommend anyone who thinks they might want to buy a niche in the future, to buy more than 1000 NRVE at today's prices. A few thousand - enough to cover several niche purchases. Once the token...

I don't know why I hadn't taken notice to this before. According to this, we should invest in at least 2,000 NRVE right now. And in my mind, this is probably one of the best reasons to invest in NRVE. I'm still trying to get a handle on the governance structure of Narrative. It seems like this post-Beta development would itself drive up the value of NRVE, particularly prior to Tribunal elections. While I see nothing in the specs that say owning any amount of NRVE is required to be on The...

No one has an opinion on how advertising should be conducted on Narrative? This discussion (with myself) is highlighting just how expansive is the gap between the two perspectives evaluating Narrative's ROI. Crypto perspective vs. Content perspective. Rather, in light of the prolific scrambling for community activity points, like liking posts despite the absence of even a modicum of...

Re: PORN NICHE

This all boils down to a choice. I don't agree with the arguments about advertisers - niches are discrete worlds that can easily be cordoned off from advertisers who do not wish their products associated with them. But I do agree that porn may well not be what we should be aiming for, for Narrative. Particularly at this time. But it boils down to a choice, and there are two potential groups of decision makers. The Narrative Team First of all, I think it would be useful at this stage to know...

Don't worry... we have plans for promoting Narrative, and more specifically niches, since that is the focus of Chaucer. We need to get the word out about the purpose and value of niches and we plan to do so. Our goal is to have lots and lots of niches that have been claimed in advance of the launch of the beta so that users have a plethora of subject areas to express their interest in (and post to). As for exchanges... the primary purpose now is to provide liquidity so that people can use...

Re: Confusion Over Niche Voting

Malkazoid ·
I noticed this pattern in voting. What can I say. Humans are fallible. We must be extremely careful to include safeguards in our processes, and not leave them entirely up to the wisdom of moderators, or even tribunals of elected members. We need something akin to a constitution that delineates that actions contrary to it can be overturned. PS I too have approved every niche so far. They all meet the criteria.
