Hy members, i think it‘s a shame that people could get community reward points for posting useless things in the forum like a smiley or something else. We should enable a admin only for proofing posts. So that it is impossible to get points for doing nothing. We should act asap. Sincerly, bitsurfer

Don't worry, we're on top of it, and we have the ability behind the scenes to remove activity points when appropriate (for example, for one word, or single emoji posts). Definitely feel free to report those, and they're being reviewed in the background for deletion. I totally appreciate your leadership here!

Thinking ROI, or, Investor Unicorns

Bryan ·
I'm sure we all wish we could travel back in time to May 22, 2010, with the added foresight to discretely accept 10,000 BTC from our man L.H. in exchange for a couple pizzas. Who wouldn't? The advantage of hindsight turns missed opportunities into a sort of regret avoidance filter through which all Present and Future opportunity-decisions must pass. We fear missing the boat . And, we fear what we might miss if we make the boat . Hence, decision time . I was talking with my wife last night...

I appreciate your concern Bitsurfer but from what I have seen its few and far between the smily faces and small comments (maybe they have already been deleted) but not a problem yet maybe in the future. but its nice to get new users even if its a smily face! on board at the moment the comments have been from the same users like you, me, Rush, Byan, Dias, Akshay.

Could Slum Niche landlords exist in Narrative ? : I

Harj ·
I was thinking.... if someone buys a Niche and for what ever reasons does not maintain a Niche to high standard or does the least due to whatever reason could that be a disatvantage to community ? Personally I think that a Owner of A Niche at mininmum has to put in place a moderator and renew each year or get penalised with no revenue but would that also hurt the community ?. Would be good to know if a Owner can or should need to do any more. ? One thing come to mind is a rouge Moderator!

Re: Could Slum Niche landlords exist in Narrative ? : I

Ted ·
Hi Harj- If a niche owner does not have at least one elected moderator in place, he or she will not be eligible to for niche owner network rewards for that niche. Like you said, if the owner is not ensuring some kind of human moderation, then there is a greater chance of the niche being neglected. Owners nominate moderators, but they are elected by the community. Similarly, once a moderator is elected, he or she can be removed by the community through a voting mechanism, as well.

Great thread! Like most people, I learned about Narrative because I was investing in cryptocurrencies. But investing is not a significant part of who I am, and when I discovered Narrative, my interest in it was immediate, and had little to do with dreams of riches. I think this is a sign Narrative has a winning attribute, if it can inspire this sort of response to it. Success generally starts with passion, not the other way around. Narrative cannot succeed long term with only the...

The Smooth elegance of Narrative

Harj ·
Narrative has stuck to its guns On transparency it has deliverd a clear visionary plan. It truly is a community run by its users, so the power to make informed decisions is with them and some of the areas that a visible to all are The actions by Moderators so they are accountable to the community and they know who they are. New Niches that are approved, the community knows what's new and to be fully informed in what Niches are emerging and any possible duplication Advertisements approval...

Agree. Not appropriate content should be banned with some code. For example if not appropriate content receive determined number of reports then system will ban this automatically... but even like this some large group of people could manipulate on network... I think that it is crucial for Narrative that this is solved in a fair way.

The Organisation

Roger Sels ·
Just though I repeat here my Telegram question about the Organisation to share the responses and if anybody wanted to ship in. Question about the Narrative Organisation. How are they kept sharp after the launch? I mean, they will be responsible for the development of the product. This is something which is never ending... The 15% income is one thing. But will it be enough. And who has an impact on who resides in the Organisation? In addition, has the community any leverage on the...

Re: The Organisation

I think that is a very good question. I do not see much of an issue overall due to the way narrative is setup with the org handling the infrastructure and marketing while the community handles how narrative functions day to day as well as how it evolves. That being said what if the members of the org, being only 5 currently I believe, are all on the same plane as it’s sucked into the Bermuda Triangle? (Comedic relief as I don’t want to imagine an actual tragedy) Point being, what happens in...

Just to give you guys some comfort level...we have no travel plans to the Bermuda Triangle area in the near future Also, Narrative will not be run out of someone's basement. This is an actual company that will have live staff and structure in a physical location (we're currently in hiring mode). Part of running a real business is having things like disaster plans, "key man" insurance, and continuity plans, so that the operation can continue if something unexpected happens.

Hi Founders, Congratulations on your Niches. I am excited to be a reader, contributor, and hopefully a moderator for some of these terrific Niches that are now in existence. I have noticed that many of the founders have seemly left the building when it comes to voting on the Niches suggested by the patrons . It just demonstrates how powerful decentralization truly is. We are setting the tone here, in a short amount of time we will double and then triple in size and the demands of building this will be shared by other new comers.

Hi Emily, Brilliant - lets indeed connect each other! I've been thinking about timing though... When is it best to actually connect with these folks? Because once we do, there will be a space of perhaps 2 weeks in which action will be optimal... then the twin diseases of forgetfulness and distraction will kick in, and people will start to consider Narrative is something they might get around to, if and when it launches... Quietly I've been planning my roadmap for my niches, but I want to...

Time To Help Each Other Out

My Network of people in the real world seems to be vast and varied. I have always considered it my best asset. I am sure that there are others in this community that also have cultivated a great network of people. Now is the time that we need to look at our new Narrative Community, look at the Niches, and then look at our Network of people we know and ask are selves, who might be interested in contributing, reading or moderating for all of these different niches. Then there are the cold calls....I am starting to reach out to content creators within certain niches that are on social media already and just trying to start a friendship...this is the long haul approach so that I can build a bit of...
