Bitsurfer7 ·
Hy members, i think it‘s a shame that people could get community reward points for posting useless things in the forum like a smiley or something else. We should enable a admin only for proofing posts. So that it is impossible to get points for doing nothing. We should act asap. Sincerly, bitsurfer

Thinking ROI, or, Investor Unicorns

Bryan ·
I'm sure we all wish we could travel back in time to May 22, 2010, with the added foresight to discretely accept 10,000 BTC from our man L.H. in exchange for a couple pizzas. Who wouldn't? The advantage of hindsight turns missed opportunities into a sort of regret avoidance filter through which all Present and Future opportunity-decisions must pass. We fear missing the boat . And, we fear what we might miss if we make the boat . Hence, decision time . I was talking with my wife last night...

Could Slum Niche landlords exist in Narrative ? : I

Harj ·
I was thinking.... if someone buys a Niche and for what ever reasons does not maintain a Niche to high standard or does the least due to whatever reason could that be a disatvantage to community ? Personally I think that a Owner of A Niche at mininmum has to put in place a moderator and renew each year or get penalised with no revenue but would that also hurt the community ?. Would be good to know if a Owner can or should need to do any more. ? One thing come to mind is a rouge Moderator!

The Smooth elegance of Narrative

Narrative has stuck to its guns On transparency it has deliverd a clear visionary plan. It truly is a community run by its users, so the power to make informed decisions is with them and some of the areas that a visible to all are The actions by Moderators so they are accountable to the community and they know who they are. New Niches that are approved, the community knows what's new and to be fully informed in what Niches are emerging and any possible duplication Advertisements approval...

Just though I repeat here my Telegram question about the Organisation to share the responses and if anybody wanted to ship in. Question about the Narrative Organisation. How are they kept sharp after the launch? I mean, they will be responsible for the development of the product. This is something which is never ending... The 15% income is one thing. But will it be enough. And who has an impact on who resides in the Organisation? In addition, has the community any leverage on the...

Hi Founders, Congratulations on your Niches. I am excited to be a reader, contributor, and hopefully a moderator for some of these terrific Niches that are now in existence. I have noticed that many of the founders have seemly left the building when it comes to voting on the Niches suggested by the patrons . I would encourage you to participate in this round of voting, even though you have your niches, for the following reasons: 1. Most of you have been here from the beginning, and are a lot...

My Network of people in the real world seems to be vast and varied. I have always considered it my best asset. I am sure that there are others in this community that also have cultivated a great network of people. Now is the time that we need to look at our new Narrative Community, look at the Niches, and then look at our Network of people we know and ask are selves, who might be interested in contributing, reading or moderating for all of these different niches. Hello Everyone. I know this is a Male dominated platform right now, and I am might be risking a huge backlash even by even asking this question. But I prefer to think that this is a highly intelligent group capable of building this thing together. After all we are all here at this stage because we want to make money. Nudity, Community Standards, Age restrictions ...Let's Get This Right The First Time

Emily Barnett ·
Ok. So Narrative now has a nude selfie niche "Gone Wild" up for Auction. Many people are not happy, or at the least very watchful about this new development. I respect that we have made a community decision, utilizing the rules that have been laid out for us so far, although I think many people voted uniformed of the potential consequence, and with an idealistic vision of complete decentralization that still looks to corporations for funding. There is a very good debate that took place in...

Priorities for improving niche validation

Malkazoid ·
Fellow Narrators, Some riveting discussions have been raging over niche validation, and how we might improve it. I've reached a point where some certainty has emerged on at least one aspect of the problem, and any certainty is probably good to focus on and try to expand from. I've become convinced that we need to take rapid and real steps towards fostering dialogue around each niche we validate, before we vote. The rest of this post will help you follow my train of thought, and I hope, get...

Stop complaining about exchanges and help build a massive narrative community.

I have only started to get heavily invested in crypto for close to 2 years now. But what I have learned in this short amount of time is that what makes a coin/token succeed is the community. So for the people who complain about when exchange or why the price has gone down, all you're doing is help create more doubt for possible investors. I was definitely one of those negative people who doubted Bitcoin back in 2009. I looked at it as a joke. I had friends and family ask my opinion on It and...

Sub-Niches or No sub-Niches...what's the issue?

An interesting thread on how to handle Duplicate niches has started to branch into the territory of hierarchal organization and there are some interesting points raised why we may want some sort of visual roadmapping of the Niches, and the so called "sub-niches". Does a Tribunal overruling on a Niche impact reputation?

Dana ·
In cases where the community votes incorrectly, it seems in my best interests to simply go with the flow and vote for 'the winning team' rather than vote correctly and take a reputation hit. I get the feeling that this 'gaming' the voting system is happening-- maybe not always maliciously, but to save time and boost rep. So my question using a real example: the Niche Homeopathic Treatment looks set to be accepted by the community at 12 (for)- 2 (against). Even if the remaining 8 votes go...

Quora now has something called 'Spaces', that are similar to niches in a number of ways, from what I can see. https://www.quora.com/spaces I've only just noticed them. Agree. Not appropriate content should be banned with some code.
