Hi, Akshay! You will need the neonwallet, as well. But you can use your private key from neotracker with neonwallet. You will see all your NEO from neotracker that way. http://neonwallet.com/

If I'm not mistaken, you actually have to wait for the next update (the wallet is v1.3 iirc) and that update should be out prior to the public sale on Feb 20. They also opened up registration for whitelist and KYC so make sure you do those first! LOL

When you log in to your Neon Wallet ( by clicking the upper left square in the original post's attached image ) there is also a "participate in token sale" button on your actual wallet screen, at the bottom. You'll have to login to your wallet before you can participate. I don't know what hitting the lower right button will do if you're not logged in?

Do you want to be part of the very first niche on Narrative?

Rsqrd ·
This morning I woke up to check that I was not outbid in the battle for the niche 'Cryptocurrency'. With luck I can say that my bid was just enough to win. After founder, I can also call myself a niche owner. Now the real work begins. With the beta still relatively far away in Q4 2018 according to the roadmap, I have some time to think about the layout of the niche. But to set a good foundation it is good to put that together with a team. So that's why I'm looking for moderators and content...

It was a premium niche even with the low price for NRVE and NEO I feel like it will be a worthwhile investment for you. I'll also be writing a few articles in your niche.

I’m down to be a mod! I’m a huge crypto enthusiast (I have 3 ledger nano S and had multitudes of tokens and coins at one point). Let me know what you’ll need from your mod but I’m pretty sure I’m your guy congrats on being the first unofficial niche owner btw! If you’re looking to be a mod, let me know as well! Btw, here’s what I have to offer: I’ve had experience moderating forums and Facebook groups. I also follow the major cryptocurrency channels and subreddits so I’m pretty up-to-date.

Penalties for rejected Niches

Eduardo Hernández ·
So I am a very creative, but, at times, misunderstood fellow. I have suggested some niches, which have all been approved -or on the way to approval. Unfortunately, one of the Niches I suggested is being bashed and crushed by the -seemingly angry- community of crypto lovers. It was never my idea to go around the Cryptocurrency niche by creating The Bubble. I imagined that it'd be nice to have an alternative space to talk about crypto without the whole nerdy seriousness of it. But I published...

I think we are in a learning phase where folks are still not sure how to vote on things, and what the criteria are. The Team have spelled out the criteria quite clearly, but there are still grey areas in people's minds, and the use of words such as voting and ballot are still throwing a spin of preference on the process, as opposed to what we are aiming for which is an impartial validating of fairly clear cut criteria. Your case is serving to underline something new, that I think we should...

I simply voted no as I did not see how it was different from the Cryptocurrency niche besides having a different name. I do not think there is anything wrong at all with coming up with niches nor do I see how you are, or could, be penalized for having a niche idea down-voted. I think more time should be spent on the descriptions as that is where a person can see where the differences of a niche are.

Re: Penalties for rejected Niches

I was too naïve, I see, at putting more importance on an original catchy name with a sarcastic spin rather than on the description, as pointed out by @Malkazoid (who up-voted my niche, thanks brother!) Though I see yet another flaw in the system: the incredibly narrow minded voting process. I suggested the niche LGBT, which surprisingly got certain resistance. I thought "What the fuck, seriously!?" Because not only it didn't break any rules, but it's also a valid topic that should be here to...

You can not be punished nor do I think that will ever become an option. Also, @christian as I just responded to your other post on the topic of Bitcoin Trading, although the titles seem to infer a difference between the two, the description of Bitcoin Trading clarifies the fact it is no different than the Bitcoin niche already created.

Re: Penalties for rejected Niches

Niches are making less and less sense the more I think about it, hierarchically speaking. So you have "Cryptocurrency" > "Bitcoin" > "Bitcoin Trading". Only that they are not contained in that logical category and subcategory structure, but rather lose, floating in limbo. Messy.

I think most people voted your niche down because the title covers much broader topic than cryptocurrencies which you mention in the description. There are also other markets and eventhough cryptocurrencies are now by far the hottest topic, if you mention bubble I personally still think back to 2009. Otherwise, I think the idea of this niche is really good and has a potential to attract people with no basic knowledge of cryptoworld. Also with the title I think it doesn't pay off to be too...

You are exactly right @Eduardo Hernández . Most likely the few who voted against LGBT do find it morally wrong or they don't like it because they disapprove. Do you honestly expect 100% of people to agree on everything? Considering the LGBT Niche was approved by roughly 73% of the community vote, I would say that is a victory worth celebrating, not diminishing. Instead of focusing on the few who voted against, take pride in the majority that voted for. The majority wins, the majority is all...

@Former Member Still the whole voting is a bit idiotic, in the sense that most are clearly voting over personal preferences rather than because of a clean application of the the aforementioned rules. I'm afraid that suggesting niches will become more scarce and painfully unoriginal -and plain boring-, if we stick to these tactics. So, coming back to the LGBT niche, it had down-votes for what reason, really? Following every single parameter of the submission process? Or simple, blatant...

I can only answer for myself but in my opinion Bitcoin=Bitcoin Trading at this time. It is the same as US Dollars=US Dollar trading or Ford Stock=Ford Stock trading. It is one in the same. Visual Example: Cryptocurrency > Bitcoin = Bitcoin Trading Fiat Currency > US Dollar = US Dollar Trading Stock Market > Ford Stocks = Ford Stock Trading Routers > Wireless Routers = Wireless Router Trading(lol) Again, I am not saying this IS the way it is. Only that this IS the way that I see...

Exactly @Malkazoid . Because I am seriously considering, if punished, to not ever suggest any more Niches. Why? Because if any of the snowflakes here thinks "Ah, it hurts my feelings" or "Gays/Lesbians/Jews/(Insert minority here) are shit." What happens then? You get down-voted and lose NRVE or reputation in Narrative. For no other reason than narrow-mindness. Does not seem fair.

Re: Penalties for rejected Niches

I agree. The system does need to guard against this happening too often, and in particular, deliberately. But this could be achieved by allowing something like 3 downvoted niches a year, without penalty. Anything above that would start to enter into the territory of 'people being sloppy'. And perhaps anything above 6 rejected niches a year would enter into the 'deliberate abuse' territory. So the penalty could slide towards more severe along that spectrum? Every new rejected niche, the...

@Eduardo Hernández With all due respect, your usage of the term "snowflake" on here and on Telegram to describe others is a bit ironic considering you are the one who seems to be overly sensitive to any votes against a niche idea of yours. I am not here to try and make you feel bad or put you down, but your condescending tone and tantrum throwing is not going to help you win any arguments or debates on here.

I think that this whole thing of penalizing people who submitted perfectly eligible Niches that got down-voted shouldn't be enforced. That's how democracy works. Majority wins, but the losing side is not punished, period. Of course if somebody clearly goes and submits a niche with profanity and hate speech, he should be face consequences. Simple as that.

I offer an explanation to be polite to the person whom i voted down, and to be helpful so that the person knows somewhat how to potentially improve the description or name, when and if they have to go to the appeal . I don't consider myself angry or bashing. A critical thinker...for sure, but not angry.
