Narrative Should Be Certified Brave Publisher For Creating Great Attention To The People.

MALAY BANERJEE ·
In Today's Commpettetive Market narrative should bring something new to its users. I think narrative administration should try to make narrative as a Certified Brave Publisher.. If it is happened then its users get additional brave token for using narrative platform. With this more and more people will jump to the Narrative and Narrative definitely go to the moon very soon.. Thanks Everyone..

Confusion Over Niche Voting

Bryan ·
I'm REALLY disappointed in @Ted for voting to reject my Niche topic. I'm wracking my brains to give him ( and the others that have followed suit that I've had very positive interactions with like @Harj ) some meager benefit of doubt. Reviewing the brief instructions at the top of the Niche Ballot page are some instructions on how to approach Niche voting. One column for upvoting , and one for rejecting proposed Niches. The first bullet describes...

Thanks @Malkazoid , I think you're right. If Ted hadn't voted to reject my Niche, I think I would have just chocked it up as "confused voter syndrome"... But Ted did vote, and he's supposed to know this stuff.

Re: Confusion Over Niche Voting

Thanks @Emily Barnett I'm not too worried about the voting, just the Ted part of it. It's also surprising that @Rosemary 's proposed Niche, Beach Life, is also getting some serious hostility. Just shows people are voting with their affinities and aesthetic preferences! I need to remember this is the very first Niche voting experience. The team will sort it out.

I didn't realise you could see how people had voted. I looked and Ted is in the YES column now. It is possible he clicked the wrong button, and went back to correct it afterwards?

Re: So they put a niche auction that the narrative owner has automated to win only the

Banter ·
What you see is by design. @Ted entered his max bid (something larger than 7001). The way the system works is it will continue to bid one more than the current winning bid of the auction, so long as that bid is <= Ted's max bid. Everything here is working as expected. This works just like an eBay auction would.

Re: So they put a niche auction that the narrative owner has automated to win only the

Slaz ·
@cara But the auctioning process is what determines and creates the value that keeps the system rolling and rewards distributed. The idea is that Niches that are expected to have a broader audience will generate more revenue, and as such these Niches should have more challenge during auctioning, upping the price in the process. However, current activity levels usually leave Niche bids unchallenged. I don’t know exactly why @Ted wanted a niche as significant as Sports, being a co-founder of...

Re: New blog post: The Narrative Manifesto

It looks like there's a clear consensus emerging opposing non-consensual disclosure of financial data, but as I've maintained previously, it doesn't matter. The issue is legality. Here's why: 1. The SEC has already said that cryptocurrencies are most likely securities. 2. As $NRVE is almost certainly a taxable security, meaning a financial instrument of gain, that means that unless the 'Narrative Company' is registered as a public company that has had an Initial Public Offering and publishes...

hi Ted, question about home page. you mention that only posts from the niches you follow will come up on you home page. What opportunity is there to discover new content that you do not follow. In other words, is the quality or trending sections only going to show me what is voted quality in the niches i follow. or through out the platform

This is great! May I ask if my suggestion above could be implemented as additional option? Meaning, if one wants a blocking period (and several automatical messages) for withdrawals and changes of the NEO address, he can choose it but it would not be the default? Thank you!

Narrative Should Used Best Algorithm For Showing All Contents In Home/ Discovery Page With Equal Status. .

MALAY BANERJEE ·
According Narrative Headquarters Its Ok that we can look everyone's post in discovered page. But question is how. Today volume of all contents is low but after sometime narrative have lots of contents some are old and we gets plenty of new contents posted every minute.. So narrative should have certain Algorithm which distinguished old and new and some evergreen quality contents. At the same time when numbers of post per hour increased then how all contents are visible in our home page and...

Hi @MALAY BANERJEE Some kind of reblogging might be good, but I think with the platform so new, it would be better to see how the voting system holds up over time on it's own. Great post @Malkazoid . As the second most active person on the BOTH Narrative platforms, I very much concur with what he has said. One, only has to immerse themselves in another burgeoning community similar to Narrative, to understand immediately, how it is universally understood that pay-to-play or specifically pay-to-say, is not the way to get to mass adoption, in the early stages. @Narrative This isn't a game. It isn't am experiment. Many of us gave you real money out of our real lives.

How are they kept sharp after the launch? I mean, they will be responsible for the development of the product. This is something which is never ending... The 15% income is one thing. Narrative and NEO a beautiful combination

So crypto knowledge is definitely not mandatory, actually your you don't need to know anything about it and still get all the benefits of it. But even though you don't need to know anything about it to use it (you will get paid via this mechanism) it is fun to read a little bit about it just as background information. I want to thank @Ted for his contribution on medium about NEO vs...

After investing in a number of ICOs, my Twitter and Facebook feeds started to light up with new ICO ideas. I came across Narrative on my Twitter feed. I can't remember whether it was a paid ad or a retweet. Anyway, I loved, loved, loved the ad and website. Yes a good point Bryan that Narrative can be rewarded to users in fiat too which will be a great way forward for use but im sure Ted never planned it that way. The NRVE token is the heart of narrative not fiat. The problem Im seeing is FB and Google and im sure tweeter soon will ban all crypto related adverts which I guess is the idea to slow everything down. I think a blanket ban is harsh and is just slowing down progress. Where will this go and why the persecution of everyone that has any...

Re: Marketing and exchanges are they connected?

Am I right to say they can only purchase the niches in the beta phase? And I think more awareness and publicity should be done. Like the ease of getting information about Narrative, what the token is for, especially for people who have not heard of Narrative. edit: Do we have one of those charts where we compare eg. Narrative with steemit? (like those where people compared oyster with dropbox, google drive etc)

In the event that it received a large amount of support, would it be considered? It seems quite a few Niche Owners are in favour of it/at least some kind of similar feature to further improve the chances of connecting with and building their Niche after throwing in $75 for it. The Featured section is utterly meaningless in that regard because all it takes is a few high rep friends to get you thrown up on there, whereas those without that support end up ignored. Niches are a subject, yes, but...
