We wrote a new blog post that addresses how we are currently handling Community reported Copyright issues. The challenge we have is that even though some articles appear to be copy-and-paste jobs from other sites, we have no way to prove identity for these writers (or that they did not write the content originally). It is important to us that take-downs are not treated lightly.
To be clear, copying someone else's content and posting as your own definitely violates our AUP, but we also cannot make assumptions about the identity of authors on Narrative. So we are putting some tools in place to help.
The blog describes the changes coming (including Canonical Links) to help make improvements going forward. Please read!
