Moderation Duties

Service: Narrative

I"d like to see rejecting plagiarized content added to moderator responsibilities. I don't think illegal content has anything to do with quality, which community members decide on. If moderators reject -and report - as much as they can find, then the community can better focus on supporting good quality, rather than waste time and bandwidth on illegal stuff.

TY!

I think it's already there that moderators can remove such post from the Niche for such violations. Plus down voting by selecting the same reason is enough to get noticed by team to completely remove it from the site.

But if you're talking about deleting such post from the site then I'll prefer it at Team end only. Otherwise any moderator can delete any post irrespective of other moderators' approval from other Niches. I can't imagine, when I wake up and see a moderator from any Niche have deleted my post due to any reason and I don't have any copy of it even to prove it's legit. And it can cause a loss too for other two Niches and their moderators.

Sorry @BloggerKrunal, I didn't mean delete. Reject a post. I don't see anywhere that a moderator can reject a post, except if it doesn't fit the niche topic.

Yes in that case I've seen that some violation related posts have been removed by team on a same day or two, if anyone reports it. So I feel moderators would be able to do that as well. Let's see.

Report, as in downvote?

Yes if you select AUP/TOS violation reason then it gets referred by Team and if they feel it right then they delete the post completely. Some posts I've shared on  Copyright Conflicts Topic have been removed now or marked as low quality. May be due to community members also have acted on it collectively.

Mmmh... @Colleen Ryer. Removing is too much power for moderators, imo, as @Blogger Krunal mentioned too. But rejecting for AUP/TOS violations would certainly be a welcome option. Maybe I'm wrong, but I too don't see this in specs, nor anywhere around.

Changed word to reject - is what I actually meant
