While we already have available options to share a post outside Narrative, not everyone is well-known in their social media channels (I, for example, have a total of zero followers lol). Yet, plenty users want so support each other within Narrative. However, due to Narrative blog-oriented nature, most feel that adding sharing feature will turn Narrative into your average social media platform and lose its individuality/the concept it was built, flood Narrative with spam, etc. Thus, I brainstormed and came with an alternative idea: just like the “recent, trending, quality, etc” sections available on Narrative’s users profile, why not add a “Recommended” section?
The concept is simple. If a user likes a certain post and want for others to see it, they can ‘recommend it’ and it’ll show in this section on their profile. This way, whoever who clicks it will be able to see this post, but Narrative site won’t flood with spam and the user’s own post won’t be shadowed by the recommendations. It’ll be a choice.
Also, I believe the recommendations would help to give insight on certain Narrators. Indirectly, they would help to get to know their dislikes and interests.
