Sample Email for Promoting Narrative

Service: Narrative

I've had a few requests for an "official" email template that you can use to promote Narrative, so here it is!

Feel free to tweak it as needed for various audiences, or use parts of it.

Hey [NAME OF PROSPECTIVE NARRATOR],

I’m reaching out because I think you might be interested in checking out a new content platform I’ve joined, called Narrative.

There’s a waitlist until the public Beta launch on April 2, 2019, but you might want to get on the list now, get in early, and grab your handle.

You can also see some of the early features around content drafting, subject areas (Niches) and reputation, but public content isn’t live until April 2. The Alpha version is growing at an average rate of 800 new members per month!

If you’re like me, you’re tired of fake news, algorithmic feeds, centralized censorship, trolls, bots, and behavioral surveillance for ad revenue. Whether you’re coming from Google+, Medium, Tumblr, or another platform, you have a new home with Narrative.

Narrative is a breath of fresh air.

It’s a content network that eliminates the middleman and treats its members as owners, giving them 85% of all revenue. The community elects its own moderators and leaders. All ratings and votes are reputation-adjusted, ensuring that high-reputation members have more impact than low-reputation bots and bad actors.

Narrative also organizes content in a revolutionary way using Niches, unique subjects that are suggested, approved, and purchased by members. Niche owners earn rewards based on the popularity of the content in their niches. These Niches are in essence micro-communities that have incentivized promoters, as well as elected moderators.

Click here to get on the waitlist now. New members are being let into the platform in batches of 500, and the line moves pretty quickly.

Let me know what you think!

OK this is a great start. But what we really need is a BRANDED email template, (aka with formatting and official Narrative graphics), and a branded Facebook template and Twitter template. At the very least. Optimally, these could be sent out THROUGH THE BETA site directly. Doing it through the site is actually less work than setting up templates adhering to a variety of different email platforms and ensures all information/branding will be up-to-date and correct.

I feel allcaps and boldfaced about this.

It would be phantastic if Michelle's suggestions could be implemented- either Pre-Beta or directly integrated into Beta!

@MichelleG. We will not be able to get an automated email invite into the initial Beta.   We have a few fun things post Beta that may be implemented to help recruiting too.

There are some social messages here -but  we will be updating these in the next couple of days with new hashtags, less focus on Alpha, etc.  So keep checking it out.

Here is a link to a Google Doc Template that might be easier for email use with the Narrative Logo.  We will keep adding resources and updates to this link. There will be tons of updating over the next week.

We are in a transition phase this next 11 days!

I plan to go to a Women in Blockchain meet-up this week, where you can stand up and make announcements or presentations. I don't think it it will be very big, but I thought this was a a way to do my part, where people can actually hear my enthusiasm in voice for the project.

Nice - nothing beats a face to face representation like this.

I'll start mentioning Narrative in our doc screening Q and A's, and in interviews, once we've reached the point where we've started posting materials relating to our current film on Narrative.  I'm hoping this will coincide with having overcome the early problems we know of, and the ones we don't.
