I would like to hear people's thoughts about how Narrative will be perceived by various demographics.
In particular, the 16 - 24 years old demographic.
We all know this is an important group to be on page with as they are a huge chunk of our potential audience.
What I am most concerned with is look and feel, as well as how the platform will be marketed. I am hoping the @Narrative Network Team have a plan to communicate well with this demographic, and get them to feel Narrative is an exciting space for them to jump into.
Getting content that will appeal to the younger crowd should be as simple as attracting younger content creators and niche owners. We have to do this from the very beginning, or stigma will set in. This happens very fast - people decide with lightning speed whether a site or a network is right for their age group. If the younger audience decides that Narrative is 古臭い (furukusai: slang Japanese for 'stinks of old'), there will almost certainly be no coming back from it.
Can the Team please let us know how many people under 25 are part of the @Narrative Network Team? Communicating with this age group can't be faked - we need at least one, finger-on-the-pulse person who lives and breathes it because he or she is of it.
